ABOUT THE EPISODE

This is the first episode of a 5-episode special recorded on location in Bentonville, Arkansas. Host, Josh Blum, sits down with Luke Hall who is a Bentonville local with a very diverse background in cycling. They discuss Luke’s journey towards finding the bike again – his own Freedom Machine.

The guys also review the various jobs Luke has had related to cycling in the Bentonville region, which include: AirBnB host, web developer, bike shop employee, Rapha Popup Shop employee, multiple positions at Bike NWA, and most recently the coach of the H.S. Gravel Racing team, quite possibly the first and only H.S. Gravel Racing program in the nation.

They also go deep into why gravel riding and racing is important to Luke, as well as his thoughts on the humanization of cyclists and vehicles finding a common ground on gravel roads.
