Professor John Stein, a neurologist, from Oxford University joins Developmental Optometrist Dr. Doug Stephey for a comprehensive discussion regarding the role of the magnocellular visual system as it relates to, not only dyslexia but,  a number of other diagnoses as well.  Additional topics include how the magnocellular system is not limited to the visual system but a number of other systems as well such as  auditory, motor, cerebellar, kinesthetic, and proprioceptive.

It can be argued that Dr. John Stein is the world's leading authority on magnocellular neuron deficits.  He is the co-author of the book Visual Aspects of Dyslexia and is a prolific researcher and publisher.
