Coach Rod Milstead shares the parallels of business leadership and coaching, as well as the importance of focusing on education as student athlete. Coach Rod Milstead is currently the head coach of the Delaware State Hornets football program. He was one of the most decorated players in the history of Delaware State University. He was appointed to the head coaching position in January of 2018.

Coach Milstead spent eight years playing in the NFL. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fifth round of the 1992 NFL draft. He played for the Cleveland Browns and the 49ers, where he won a super bowl with the formerly named Washington Redskins.
