Today, we bring you an extra-special episode of the podcast. To celebrate our 20th episode, we review Ari Aster’s 2019 folk horror, Midsommar (one of Ari’s favorite movies). Once again, we ask our older sister, Allie, to weigh in with her thoughts--will she become a podcast regular every ten episodes? TBD! Together, we discuss the film’s morality, its excessive gore, and Aster’s ability to convey grief through a howl.

Before our intense discussion of Midsommar, we reveal what we’ve been watching and cover some recent entertainment news, including Colin Firth in a zombie movie, an upcoming HBO series starring Andrew Garfield, Cate Blanchett, and Rooney Mara (to name a few), and more! Rest in peace, Alex Trebek.

Thanks for sticking with us through twenty episodes!
