Black Critic Roundtable: Highs and Lows of 2019 - a podcast by MTR Network

We’re finally back with another Black Critic Roundtable here at Movie Trailer Reviews. This episode, Kriss, Brandon, Joi and Ro gather to discuss some of their favorite (and not so favorite) films of 2019. Film-wise, this has been a really great year with a wide range of films to choose from. We actually have a hard time remembering some of the films we saw at the beginning of the year and not because the films were forgettable but there’s just been so many. We break down some of the obvious choices (Avengers: Endgame, John Wick, etc) and also some films that surprised us (If you haven’t seen Freaks, go find it and watch it now). And then there’s the films that let us down.
