“That is so Moral Majority.“ We watched Scream 2 with our friend Andy Ur and Season 4 of Movies That Made Us Gay is here! It’s still Scream Season and we’re giving you a FULL episode of the second entry in this hallowed franchise. Sidney (Neve Campbell) and Randy (Jamie Kennedy) are now in college with a fresh crop of victims for a copycat killer(s?) to pick off one by one. Leaning WAY into the sequel-ness of it all - the body count is indeed bigger and the death scenes are in fact more elaborate (poor SMG). The “Stab” film within a film starring Heather Graham, Tori Spelling and Luke Wilson is *chef’s kiss* and the now standard opening kill with Jada Pikett Smith and Omar Epps is still terrifying. Oh, and Randy’s Film Theory discussion of sequels lives rent free in our brains. “There’s no accounting for taste.”
