“If you were trapped in Biosphere 2 for three years, who would you bring: Time Magazine's Woman of the Year or Playboy's Playmate of the Year?” We watched our favorite 90s romantic comedy The Truth About Cats and Dogs with our friend Oscar Montoya from HBO Max’s Minx.  This 90s catfish story by the way of Cyrano de Bergerac is super charming, and classic ‘Best Friend Cinema’. Is there anything gay men love more than two women getting along in a movie? We talk about pre-sexting phone sex, 1996’s Sexiest Man Alive, 90’s movie soundtracks, and why Uma Thurman would win America’s Next Top Model.  Maybe pitting six foot Uma next to five foot Janeane Garofalo, and having all the men in the movie treat Janeane like a sea hag is a tad misogynistic, but the friendship between the two rings more true with us than the shoe-horned in romance.  Janeane and Uma’s chemistry can power a small town compared to our two male best friends(?) Ben Chaplin and Jamie Foxx.  Don’t get us wrong, Ben Chaplin has a 90’s sexiness that we try really hard to pinpoint (are we into unibrows now?).  Keep your eyes (and ears) pealed for cameos by 90’s comedy icons Bob Odenkirk, David Cross and Mary Lynn Rajskub while Scott and Pete take you on a tour of L.A.’s West Side gone-by.
