The 90’s was a wild time - when movies could get away with a teen character played by an actual 17 year old, who bones down with her best friends dad.  We watched Poison Ivy (1992) with 3 time MTMUG guest Michael Morgan and we are still clutching our pearls.  Our forever homegirl Drew Barrymore plays the mysterious nympho Ivy to Sara Gilbert’s mousy Sylvie.  These two misunderstood teens from opposite ends of the tracks become instant best friends with dangerous consequences!  Cheryl Ladd and Tom Skerritt play Sylvie’s tragic/trashy parents respectively, who take an unhealthy liking to Ivy.   Suggestive attire, inappropriate conversations and questionable tattoos abound in this erotic psychological thriller - featuring a girl on girl kiss between to teens!!! Where is Anita Bryant when we need her?
