This 1972 gore fest came replete with a psycho Santa and a beating heart – left in a crumpled up letter, as I recall. I was 12 when I saw it at the State Theater in New Brunswick , NJ, with my friend, Robert Douglas. That movie scared the living shit out of me. First and only time I ever moved to the back of the theater and felt like I might vomit. Gave me nightmares not for days, but years.
