About Charlie:

UK native Charlie Grant got his first break in music as a songwriter for
hire, landing cuts with Melanie C, Michael Patrick Kelly, Simply Red,
Michael Schulte, Marco Mengoni and Leslie Clio, along with newcomers
like Iris and Lxandra.

However, the original dream of writing and releasing music as an
artist in his own right refused to stay quiet for long and kept
pestering him from the back of his mind...so, pulling in favours and
forming a new currency based on pints of beer owed to various
musician friends and studio owners, Charlie got used to recording in
the dead of night and set to work on a heartfelt set of songs focused
on musicianship, storytelling, and song craft.

Crash & Burn is the latest release from Charlie, who has been
steadily building a fanbase with his 2020 releases Stranger’s Eyes,
Whatever Your Heart Desires and Wide Open.
Crash & Burn was recorded in isolation between two Berlin studios
in late 2020, Producer Jonathan Kluth taking Charlie’s home
recorded vocals and guitars and building a soundscape around
them in one inspired, late night session at his home studio.

A fully independent artist, Charlie has had his songs added to more
than 300 playlists on Spotify and on German radio he’s had more
than 2,000 airplays on around 40 different stations - most notably
his songs I Got The Fear, Love Letters, Astronaut, and Stay Down.
