A lot of entrepreneurs find it quite challenging to grow their e-commerce business on Instagram. This is why I really wanted to highlight today’s podcast guest because she is doing a beautiful job in marketing her e-commerce products on the Gram without being spammy.Today’s guest is, Kate Patch, a Member of The Social Method Society, a mum of two, and the chaos coordinator and chief boss lady behind Heritage Blankets, an e-commerce business. She aspires to be more present and to take life as it comes whilst embracing the wild chaos and seasons motherhood brings. Often you will find Kate designing new baby blanket collections, crushing on floral prints and loving all things pretty.

During this episode, Kate is going to share how she has grown her e-commerce business on Instagram and what the deep relationships and friendships that she's made within the Social Method Society has made possible for her as a young mother in business.

So how has Kate been approaching Instagram without seeming spammy? How is Kate showing up on Instagram?

Kate didn’t realise how to use Instagram properly, so she invested in my flagship course Hashtag Hustle. Now Kate uses Instagram as a connection point where she’s only trying to grow a community rather than sell to them.
Stop thinking about how to get people to engage with you and start thinking about how you can engage with them.>>[14:40] Kate recently had a personal revelation that she shared so vulnerably inside of the Social Method Society. And I have asked her prior to this episode, if she’s open to sharing that revelation here on the podcast because it hit home for a lot of her Society Sisters. From sharing this revelation, Kate discovered she wasn’t alone and it was important for the other women to learn that they aren't alone either!! When we talk openly about our experience - even the less fun parts and the messy realities... it lifts any shame and makes way for growth!>>[16:10] Kate had to realise where she was wasting time and how she could prioritise the most important tasks. She wasn’t able to step away from her business to also spend quality time with her family.
