Welcome to My Favourite Game, a ten-episode season of podcasts where writers and personalities talk about the games they love most and how they ended up in the industry. For more details on what the objective is for My Favourite Game, hit this link.

We begin tonight with an installment in one of the most-beloved point-&-click series’ ever, if not the most beloved. Released in 1997 in what turned out to be the final installment in the franchise from creators Tim Schafer and Ron Gilbert, The Curse of Monkey Island came at the tail-end of a golden era of point-&-click genre.

For StickTwiddlers co-founder Ben Cordell, it became his favourite game ever. Join us for the next hour as we talk about his love for point-&-click, why he became so enamored with Monkey Island as a whole and more. We also talk of how StickTwiddlers came to be, along with the website’s very popular Eurogamer Expo/EGX party (which was put on hiatus for this year’s show unfortunately), as well as his honorable mentions, including a debate on how the Mass Effect series is ranked (Spoiler: it’s 2 > 3 > 1).
