Washington's Nationals took a 3-1 lead into the eighth inning tonight, but struggling left-handed reliever Felipe Rivero had a disastrous outing, giving up three hits and two walks (one intentional) and ultimately six runs, five earned as the San Diego Padres rallied for a 7-3 win.
