For years anybody who owned land or a restaurant or a bar in Raleigh wanted to get their hands on the space atop Boylan Street. Chris Borresson (aka Cap'n Redbeard, aka Magic maker) and his wife Sara Abernethy were not in Raleigh and did not seek this potential pot of gold that sat atop the Boylan Bridge. However, because they did not seek it, much like the Sorcerer's Stone, they were awarded it.

Chris and Sara acquired the sleepy "also-ran" known as the Boylan Street Brew Pub in August of 2018. On this episode we hear how Chris and Sara brought in the likes of the one and only Max Trujillo, Bobby McFarland to help transform this majestic location high atop Raleigh into a brewery and kitchen that is befitting of it's location. This episode, has restaurant creation, entrepreneurial business wisdom and some delicious cooking and brewing tips.
