God has chosen to limit the effectiveness of his church by the faithfulness of his people. The effectiveness of God’s church is limited by the faithfulness of his people. It takes time for us to grow and learn how to work how he does and become effective workers alongside him but we believe one thing God wants to develop in you is a heart of generosity. An improper understanding of generosity places a lid on the efficacy of the church and it places a lid on the impact of your life.

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.  9 As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”
