Matt Chatham (@chatham58 on Twitter, footballbyfootball.com) stops by. Pod talks to him about the lack of defense not normally associated with the defending Super Bowl champions. He also plugs his recent article on MusketFire.com comparing the 2017 Patriots to the 2011 Patriots. Matt doesn't think that's the case. He mentions there are alot of new players on the defensive side of the ball and there is hope that this squad is going to improve as the season goes on and they learn their roles. In the meantime, Pats fans just need some patience. He also talks about specific veteran players like Devin McCourty and Nate Solder, whom Pod pointed to as guys that are struggling. Matt wants to wait until he can watch some tape and mentions how a play in Week 1 versus the Chiefs wasn't McCourty's fault.

Matt is also a member of the BlogTalkRadio Fantasy Expert League with Pod. Some of the undefeated teams lost this past week and it looks like there's some parity this year with 14 teams. Matt shares what fantasy players should be looking for in terms of matchups to best set their lineups on a weekly basis.

Then it's the Thursday Night Football Preview. Kevin (Cowboys) hosts Tom (Bears) and Brian (Packers) for a preview of the Chicago-Green Bay tilt. Pod shares his pick at the end and teases the upcoming Thursday show.
