On this edition of Next on the Tee Golf Podcast I'm joined by TaylorMade Golf CEO David Abeles, former PGA Tour Caddy Andy Lano II, and LPGA Class A Teaching Professional Sue Wieger.

David Abeles shares his thoughts on the US Open and the great pitch shot Gary Woodland hit on the 17th hole using their new Hi Toe Wedge. We talked about the great seasons their players like Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Tiger Woods, Jon Rahm, and Rickie Fowler are having. We also talked about the great innovation and technology behind their Hi Toe wedges, new Spider X putters, and what they're working on next.

Andy Lano II talked about his years caddying on Tour for Kenny Perry and what it's like being inside the ropes for events like The Masters and the Ryder Cup. He shared his memories from being on the bag for Michelle Wie when she competed against the men at the 2006 84 Lumber Classic.  He also talked about his company Golf Mastery (www.golfmastery.net) and how he's helping golfers of all levels improve the strategy of playing the game.

Sue Wieger is a fantastic golf Instructor and Coach. She's written a wonderful book titled: "Golf, The Last 6 Inches, Change Your Brain, Change Your Game". In it she talks about how to change your thought process to change your outcomes. We talk about "flushing" the bad thoughts or bad shots so we don't carry them to our next swing or our next hole. We also discussed all the negative self-talk we do and how flip your thought process from what not to do to what we want to have happen.
