A team of researchers at the University of Houston along with the Medistar Corporation have developed a superheated air filter that can “catch and kill” Coronavirus! The nickel-based foam filter heats up to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) as part of a heated air disinfection system, effectively removing and killing 99.8% of COVID-19 viral particles. This development could be a game changer with returning to “normal” as the future hope is to implement this filtration systems into schools, hospitals, office buildings, and the like. Here to join Dan to explain this superheated air filter is Dr. Garrett Peel, the Managing Director of Medistar.
