A recent Omicron fueled Covid surge has in large part caused a rocky start for many schools as they return to in-person learning. Across Massachusetts, delays ensued Monday over Covid testing and today Boston Public Schools has over 1,000 staff members, including teachers out. The Massachusetts Teachers’ Assoc. has been critical of the Baker Administration’s approach back to the classroom saying, they “are tired of Band-Aid approaches from Baker and Riley when it comes to facing the biggest public health threat of our time.” Given the current Covid surge, should students be in the classroom?
