Thousands of National Guard troops brought to Washington D.C. to provide security at the Capitol during the Inauguration were then banished to an unheated parking garage to sleep. Multiple members of Congress were outraged at the move, many offering up their own offices and facilities to the men and women who had come to protect them. The Guardsmen were eventually allowed back into the Capitol. It is still a mystery who gave the order to oust them. Was the Guard insulted? Are you outraged?
