Amid the height of the busy tourism season, Provincetown, MA has issued a new mask advisory, regardless of vaccination status, after an uptick in COVID cases. Reports from town officials say the vast majority of cases remain among vaccinated people. According to the Boston Globe, the town is advising local businesses ask customers to show proof of vaccination when social distancing is not possible. While this appears to be an advisory not a mandatory rule, the idea of a “vaccine passport” leaves some citizens with their noses out of joint.
