In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court has ruled that a Catholic Social Services agency in Philadelphia has the constitutional right to refuse to work with same-sex couples who apply to take in foster children. The Department of Human Services in Philadelphia wanted to terminate their contract with the Catholic agency over their refusal to work with gay couples, but the agency is in the right on grounds of free religious expression. Was this a good ruling by the Supreme Court?
