Local Fitchburg couple Deborah and William Hubbard have been trying to get their daughter and grandson, who reside in Ukraine, out of the war-torn country and to safety. U.S. born daughter Aislinn has faced many speed bumps that have prevented her from being able to flee with her baby. Father William Hubbard has taken it upon himself to travel over to Ukraine to assist his daughter and grandson in their efforts to make it out of the country.
