A Virginia elementary school has gained attention for sharing an educational video on their website that supports the notion that police are unsafe to be around. This video was included in Bailey Elementary School’s summer learning guide for 2nd graders under their suggested texts. The text was called “Safe” and included a narrator saying, “I feel safe when there are no police.” Do you think this video is sending the wrong message about police to our impressionable youth?
