PAGE 2 GUEST EXPERT: Mark Blumberg is a partner at Blumberg Segal LLP and works almost exclusively in the areas of Non-Profit and Charity Law.  He has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of British Columbia and a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) from Osgoode Hall Law School in Tax Law.
Mark is on the Executive of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) National Charities and Not-for-Profit Law Section and Ontario Bar Association (OBA) Charity and Non-profit law section. 
Mark is quoted regularly in print media and appears frequently on radio and television on topics relating to philanthropy and the regulation of charities in Canada. 
Mark has appeared on a number of occasions in front of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance on topics such as charity regulation, transparency and accountability for non-profits and charities and tax incentives for philanthropy.
