Sarah Sutton is a LEED-accredited professional by the United States Green Building Council, and a museum professional with 31 years of experience working with zoos, aquariums, historical societies, art museums and parks.  Her business is called Sustainable Museums and she works all around the country helping a variety of organizations improve their environmental sustainability while helping the bottom line, creating public connections, and planning for a changing future.

Many in the audience may know her as Sarah Brophy, or may know her for her decades of work researching and writing grant proposals – which was one way she came to be such an avid support of environmental sustainability in educational institutions.  As Sarah Brophy she wrote Are You Grant Ready? How to tell when your organization is ready to successfully attract grants, AASLH History Series. She is co-author of two editions of The Green Museum: A Primer for Environmental Practice, with Elizabeth Wylie, and we know her as Sarah Sutton and author of The Green Nonprofit: The First 52 Weeks of Your Green Journey.
