Season 3 - Episode 71 - The Sweet 16 of Safety - a podcast by Heidi Lyn Rao

Have you ever realized that the lessons you learned as a child attending a summer camp, or in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or even the YMCA --- those lessons have carried on with you into adulthood?  Sometimes we don't realize how much these lessons become a part of us and instilled in us through our everyday lives.

In Boy Scouts, there is a Guide to Safe Scouting.  One of the areas of focus is what is called "The Sweet 16 of BSA Safety."  We'll explore these 16 safety points and discuss how each revolves around good judgement and common sense.  All activities must go through this checklist of Sweet 16 to ensure a safe and memorable experience.
