What is your WHY to hunting?  Why do you spend so much time, money, research to learn all about the species you will be pursuing, in the area you will be hunting?  It is our job as hunters to know the rules and regulations of the animals we hunt.  It is our responsibility to do our homework and research to find the best firearm and ammo, optics, clothing, gear, and accessories best suited for us.  

Then the range time, practice, proficiency, booking of hotels, modes of transportation whether by air or land to get where we are going, and our final destination details.  Are we going to a friend or family's land?  Hunting on public land?  Are we on a lease and do we have a written lease agreement?  Or did we book the hunt of a lifetime through a guide or outfitter service?

So much to learn, know and do before the time comes of the actual hunt itself.  Maybe just a few months of preparing, or several years to be ready...whatever the case - why do we do it?

Maybe sharing stories at camp, or watching your kid take their first deer or dove, or sitting around the campfire roasting hot dogs...or my WHY is as simple as just getting out of the city and looking up at night - awestruck of the stars above that I never see under the bright city lights.

Find your WHY and share it with another, to bring them with you so they, too, can see a glimpse of our passion and excitement to get outdoors and do what we love to do!
