Season 5 - Episode 102: Keeping Hunters + Shooters Coming Back - a podcast by Heidi Lyn Rao

With the 5.4 million first-time gun buyers in 2021 - research has shown they are not only embracing their 2nd Amendment rights, but over half of them are seeking professional training to learn how to use their new firearm.  They want to learn all about the operations of it, learn the fundamentals of shooting to be a decent marksman, and most importantly the SAFE operations and use of their firearm.  

It is our job as an established community of hunters and shooters, to embrace these new firearm enthusiasts and gun owners.  We should reach out to these folks and show them the way and reasons why we love what we do.  These new hunters, shooters and firearm owners are seeking training and mentorship.

Being a mentor is not a one-and-done task.  Mentorship takes time and frequent meetings with our new customers and friends in the firearms community.  Mentorship is also meant to be small - either a one-on-one or a one-on-few experience.

Do your part to share why YOU love to hunt and/or shoot, and it won't be long before these millions of new firearm owners soon become firearm enthusiasts and keep coming back for more!
