Season 5 - Episode 98: Matthew's Past Leads to his Present Day Firearms Talent (age 17) - a podcast by Heidi Lyn Rao

Growing up hunting and learning about firearm safety from a very young age, can only mean one thing - you are destined to land a job or a career in this field!  

Matthew now works part time at one of the oldest gun ranges in Houston:  Bailey's House of Guns.  He oversees the ranges on the weekends and reminds customers safety and is available to answer questions or assist when needed.  He has seen some really good things happen on the range, as well as seen some unsafe behaviors.  

One thing is for sure - being around firearms for 17 years has made Matthew extremely confident and safety conscious every time one is near.  Matthew shares his knowledge and offers assistance to new shooters, but is also learning a great deal from long-time customers who love to share stories about their experiences and firearms they bring to shoot.

He's learned that the firearms and recreational shooting community are filled with good people who love to share their knowledge and pass on traditions to as many as they can.
