Being rich isn’t a sin, but being self-indulgent and uncaring toward the poor is. God condemned wealth injustices in the first century and he continues to do so today. We can take a clear warning from James 5:1-6, however, and choose to align ourselves with God rather than the economic injustices of our culture.
