Faithless faith is when we reduce God and our relationship with him into something we control and manage. Rather than trusting him and his word, we create images and idols that become more important to us than God himself. This was the catastrophe that the Israelites brought on themselves at the foot of Mt Sinai. And God was super angry. Moses’ intercession and intervention resulted in God relenting.
