God loves a cheerful, joyous giver. This type of giving, thankfully, is not dependent on the size of our bank accounts! What God looks for instead is a single mindedness about our relationship with him, about his church and about his mission in the world. This kind of giving goes way beyond what I might have in my pocket at any given moment. Instead it is intentional. It takes into account ALL the grace—the unmerited favor—God has showered on us. This kind of giving excitedly anticipates the many thanksgivings God will receive when people respond to our financial support. In other words, single minded, God-centered giving results in multiplied thanksgivings to God—which only adds to our joy and cheer! Listen as Dr. Bob Jordan leads us through 2 Corinthians 9.
