There may be aspects about the return of Christ that we do not fully understand, but God has made clear the important elements. The day will come when God will make all things new. Those who have received Christ and follow in his way will be welcomed into an eternal existence with God in a renewed heaven and earth. Those who do not repent will experience eternal separation from God in utter despair. Our job today is to live lives defined by holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming day of God. Any apparent delay in Christ’s return is simply God’s long suffering patience born of his desire that none should perish. Listen as Dr. Bob Jordan leads us through 2 Peter 3:1-13
