B. THE BLESSING OF OUR HEAVENLY INHERITANCE (1 Pet 1:3-5).

1. God the Father has caused us to be born again (1 Pet 1:3

2. We are born again by the great mercy of the Father (1 Pet 1:33. Born again to a living hope (1 Pet 1:3).

4. The hope of our inheritance (1 Pet 1:4).

b. undefiled -

c. will not fade away -

d. reserved in heaven -

C. THE RECIPIENTS OF THE INHERITANCE (1 Pet 1:5).

1. “for you” (1 Pet 1:4b) -

2. We are protected by the power of God through faith (1 Pet 1:5) -

D. OUR INHERITANCE OF FUTURE SALVATION (1 Pet 1:5b).

1. It is future.

2. It is salvation from judgment. 1 Thess. 5:9; Rom. 5:9.
