A. REMINDERS ARE NECESSARY (2 Peter 1:12).

1. “these things” - see 2 Peter 1:3-11.

2. Peter is always ready to remind them -

3. The importance of frequent reminders.

B. REMINDERS ARE RIGHT (2 Peter 1:13-14).

1. Right, good, proper -

2. Peter’s mission is to stir you up by way of reminder.

C. REMINDERS NEED DILIGENCE (2 Peter 1:15).

1. Investing in the future.

2. Peter has a sense of urgency.

a. Laying aside of his earthly dwelling is imminent (2 Peter 1:13-14).

b. Peter is aware of his “departure” (2 Peter 1:15).

c. It is the mark of wisdom to be aware of our temporary existence.
