For those of you that aren't familiar with Christmas 59, it's the John Hughes penned short story that inspired National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. You'll find many familiar characters from across John Hughes' works and may be surprised at just how much from this 1979 National Lampoon article made it's way from the page to the silver screen.
