There’s a lot of people that we have on this show that you know, but there are people that we feature that you NEED to know… My next guest is one of those people.

Founder/CEO and Head Hopper at Yellow Rabbit PR & Marketing, a decorated journalist, editor, and columnist with 20 years of PR, Journalism, Marketing & Branding Mastery, Pamela Berry-Johnson is a fantastic storyteller with an incredible story to tell. On April 12th, 1996, the former reporter for the Clarion-Ledger newspaper, was shot three times by with random gunfire, by a white supremacist while covering the story in a largely black neighborhood. She is here to tell her story, her life growing up Mississippi, projects that she’s passionate about and why her experience with triumph after tragedy, is important to our state’s narrative.

Marshall Ramsey, a nationally recognized, Emmy award winning editorial cartoonist, shares his cartoons and travels the state as Mississippi Today’s Editor-At-Large. He’s also host of a "Now You're Talking" on MPB Think Radio and "Conversations" on MPB TV, and is the author of several books. Marshall is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a 2019 recipient of the University of Tennessee Alumni Professional Achievement Award.
