AEW Dynamite 2/22/23 review with JDfromNY. Tony Khan is hyping up a major announcement tonight, coincidentally after AEW Dynamite drew it's lowest ratings since November last week. It remains to be seen what Tony Khan's announcement will be, but it's clear that AEW is facing some challenges with its viewership numbers. Whether the announcement will be related to a free agent signing or some other major news, it will be interesting to see how it affects AEW's momentum heading into the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. Regardless, AEW will need to find ways to attract and retain viewers if it wants to continue to grow its brand and compete with WWE, as it has been a VERY hot topic the last week. 

Also, 10 teams compete in a tag team battle royal for a chance to participate in the AEW World Tag Team Championship fatal four-way match at AEW Revolution. Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, Top Flight's Darius and Dante Martin, and the Lucha Brothers' Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix are just a few of the teams set to participate.

In other matches, Orange Cassidy will defend his AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Wheeler Yuta from Blackpool Combat Club, while Saraya steps into singles action for the first time on Dynamite to face Skye Blue. Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will also be in action as he takes on Evil Uno. If Uno is victorious, he will become the first AEW wrestler to reach the 100-win mark in the promotion. Finally, The Acclaimed's Anthony Bowens and Max Caster will face off against Big Bill and Lee Moriarty in a tag team bout.
