Garry Davis is the President of BOP Risk Mitigation Services (BRMS) where they have worked with drilling contractors, major oil and gas operators and federal regulators, for almost a decade, developing the technology to quickly and clearly troubleshoot and predict BOP faults.Because subsea well control equipment spends most of its time on the ocean floor, under thousands of feet of water, it is critical that all of the critical path and auxiliary components function properly. BOP equipment failures, most often due to human error, lead to major losses of time, money and unfortunately sometimes the loss of life.
