David Leadbetter on the Golf Swing and the Importance of the Takeaway - a podcast by PGA TOUR

David Leadbetter is one of the foremost golf instructors of all time.  Perennially one of Golf Digest Magazine's Top Instructors, he has taught multiple Major Champions including Nick Faldo, Nick Price and Ernie Els. Leadbetter has also influenced and mentored a number of successful golf instructors.

He joins #OntheMark to share his insights on the golf swing and golf swing technique.  He also introduces his latest Swing Training Aid, The "Straight Away" and elaborates on how it can help you iron out the start of your golf swing - an area Leadbetter believes is highly influential and important to ball-striking success.

David talks about how to start the swing consistently well.  He shares his 8 ways that golfers tend to incorrectly start the swing.  He talks about the areas of the body that are engaged and recruited in the 'move-away,' and he also highlights various feels you are likely to get with an athletic and appropriate start to the swing.
