September Travel Ban Hits African Teams Hard - a podcast by Zayn Nabbi
from 2021-08-29T11:21:03
The big talker this week is the club versus country row surrounding a travel ban impacting African and South American players. The big European teams do not want players to travel to red-listed countries, which have high coronavirus infection rates and as a result long periods of quarantining on return to their clubs. In this episode we discuss this controversial move that could see the likes of Mohamed Salah, Wilfred Ndidi, Wilfried Zaha, and Patson Daka miss out on the up-coming World Cup qualifiers.
Panel: Zayn Nabbi (host), Courtney Freese (Former PSL winner), Ahmed Yousef (Kingfut Editor) and Francis Nkwain (African football expert)
Associate Producer: Alasdair Howorth
