This episode is about one woman's story of living with Bulimia and a long challenging road to recovery. Andrea Parmar is a Psychiatric RN, living in Saskatchewan, who worked with clients suffering with the same disease with which she was afflicted. Every day she educated them and worked with them to get on the road to health, without being able to get there herself. With the help and support of her Husband, Mick, they worked with one another through the worst of this baffling and controlling disease. Together, over a period of years, they paired to put the story to paper and are now ready to launch the resulting eBook, Alone in a Crowd, and later the hard copy. Please join us to discuss this well known, yet still mystifying disease.
