Often that entails work-arounds of systems and policies that hamstring the nurse and make giving good care to the patient more difficult. Dr. Bonnie Clipper is the one-woman Innovation Department at the ANA and Rebecca Love has pioneer status in leading the way to innovation with nurses & entrepreneurial interests of nurses, which are blossoming in all directions. She was the first Director of Nurse Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the United States at Northeastern School of Nursing – the first initiative in the Country designed to empower nurses as innovators & entrepreneurs.
