Robin Lamy is the founder and CEO of Tokay Ultimate. Tokay Ultimate is a company devoted to making ultimate specific cleats that are specifically engineered to maximize performance, comfort, and durability. The project started in 2015, and a Kickstarter campaign was launched that had backers across 5 continents.




In this interview, Robin shares what led him to start a company specifically focused on creating cleats for the sport of ultimate, and we talk business and discuss what life is like as an entrepreneur in ultimate. He shares important aspects of his company including the three values of spirit of the game, diversity/equity/inclusion, and sustainability, and how he ensures his cleats are ethically produced.
