THIS EPISODE Mike sits down with Timmy Duggan, the 2012 U.S. National Road Race Champion who rides for Team Saxo-Tinkoff. Following a year of high points, Duggan had a disappointing start to the 2013 season when he crashed out of the Santos Tour Down Under in January, breaking his leg and derailing his race plans.

In the continuing efforts to explore uncharted interviewing waters, Creed gets Timmy talking about exploiting a glitch in the matrix, the power of faith and family, being a badass on the bike, and Timmy making a good impression in his first days on the national team by spitting on Creed by mistake.

They reminisce about racing together in the 2008 Tour of Georgia where the peloton hit 60mph on a downhill and Timmy crashed so badly he sustained a traumatic brain injury.

He credits his recovery to his unwavering faith, his solid relationship with his wife, and his tenacity.

You learn the mantras that Timmy lives by - having a goal is everything, and "Never look back" – a hard lesson learned from the Volta Catalunya and one that he adhered to for his thrilling win at Nationals.

We know you're going to love listening to one of the most grounded and humble bike racers in the WT peloton. Creed is a fan, and if you aren't already, we're sure you'll become one too.
