David Christensen was introduced to Healing Touch on the 24th of October 2007. From that moment on ? his life changed in positive and enlightened way.

His first moments in the care of a patient and loving healer brought visions of untold beauty, love and hope. As new modalities were added, most notably Reiki, David?s visions and creative skills were enhanced. (Resulting in two books of poetry.)

Within this latest work, The Journey of the D?s, you?ll read of the adventure that was his as he progressed on his journey. David found new strength and hope for himself and the world. Patience ceased to be goal, and became part of his life. This book, The Journey of the D?s, carefully outlines the characters David met and places he visited on his journey.

His past consists of a Christian upbringing, 10 years in the Navy, a career in engineering management and finally serving local government as an emergency manager. Little in his past would point to this future.

In the beginning he set out to talk with others who had received Healing Touch and Reiki, but quickly found his own journey filled the book. Welcome to the Journey of the D?s.

Upcoming events where you can see David in action - The near future takes David to the CARA Run on September 20th giving Reiki to the runners, and then doing the same for participants in the Chicago Marathon on October 11th. The sessions are free to the runners. David gives both Reiki and Healing Touch to clients in and around Lake County Illinois.
