Bio for Susan Gregg

Susan was born and raised in two extremes. She was born in the fall after a very long, hot summer in New York City. When she was a teenager her family moved to a rural town in northern Vermont. The entire population was smaller than her 8th grade class so there was quite a culture shock. In 1972 she graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in Math. From the time she was a small child she?d always felt there was more to life than she was able to experience with her five senses.

In the mid-eighties she moved to San Diego where Susan met Sister Sarita and don Miguel Ruiz. She became their apprentice and actively studied with them for many years until she completed her training and became a Toltec Master and Nagual. Her studies with them totally changed her inner landscape and her experience of life. Susan went from being a depressed, often suicidal, lonely, fearful and unhappy person into a woman who lives life passionately and has a life filled with joy, love, and happiness.

Hawaii was her first love so shortly after she finished her studies and received her doctorate in clinical hypnotherapy from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy in CA Susan moved to the island of Oahu. She began writing and opened a private practice assisting people in achieving personal freedom.

In 1993, Susan?s first book Dance of Power was published. It is about her apprenticeship with don Miguel Ruiz and his mother Sister Sarita. Her second book Finding the Sacred Self is filled with exercises based on her studies. A Complete Idiot?s Guide to Spiritual Healing and her fourth book The Toltec Way: A Guide to Personal Transformation were released in July 2000.

In 2003 her book Mastering the Toltec Way was released and in 2004 it won the Independent Publishers book award for the best new age book. Susan moved to the island of Hawai?i and began studying Hawaiian spirituality with a wonderful woman called Mahealani Kuamo?o-Henry. She is a Kumu ?Elele (teacher and messenger) for her ancestors. Her love, caring, humor, and wisdom have assisted Susan in creating a powerful synthesis between the ancient Hawaiian way of living and the Toltec tradition.

Her book, A Complete Idiot?s Guide to Short Meditations offers you a variety of simple - yet powerful?meditations designed to improve quality of life by quieting the mind. This book shows you how to feel like you have more time, how to enjoy life more deeply and passionately, and how to handle everyday life without stress.

Her latest book The Encyclopedia of Angels, Spirit Guides and Ascended Masters shows readers how to access the wisdom of the ages and reminds us that everyone has a huge non-physical staff ready and willing to assist us in creating whatever we want.

When asked about life Susan responded, ?My life is such an incredible gift, filled with magic and miracles. I am always amazed that a kid from Queens, New York is living it.?

When not writing or working with clients, Susan likes to spend time with the neglected and injured animals she has rescued over the years. Her love of animals also includes the wild dolphins she swims with.
