Tina Naughton-Powers has had the gift of inspiring others for as long as her friends and family can remember. With her trademark smile, infectious laugh and an ever present sparkle in her eye, the former news anchor and television producer has authored her first children's book entitled The Land of Imagination.

After all, it was Naughton-Powers own imagination and inner spirit that motivated her transition from the often harsh reality of evening news, to acting in film and television commercials to inspiring kids around the world with her new book.

In The Land of Imagination, readers from the ages of 6-9 are introduced to a magical kingdom where characters follow their hearts and do what they love to do. Intuition takes form as a beautiful butterfly, Higher Self as a wise dragon who lives deep in a forest, evil as a nasty wizard and Hope and Inspiration in the form of a lovely young maid who dreams of being an actress. In The Land of Imagination, negative thoughts are turned into positive action and children learn to believe that anything is possible with a little bit of hope and a little dreaming.

A quick announcement about coming up shows ? I am going to be doing a few shows on holiday gifts under $50. Listen to the shows for great gift ideas and chances to win, yep I said WIN! some of the great gifts I talk about. I will also be doing readings during the Holiday Gift Shows.

Dec 2nd from 10-11pm CST, that is right after this show next week, I will be doing Charity, Eco-friendly and specialty gifts.

Dec 9th from 9-11pm CST I will be doing a Holiday gift show focused on Kids, Families, & Pets. Lots of great gift ideas and more free gift give aways.

Dec 16th will be a two hour show of ?Pampering Yourself & Others? Gift Ideas for the Holidays.

Dec 23rd is another two hours of Adults Gift Guide. Some very nice gifts to win on this show and maybe even a few naughty gifts too.

And finally Dec 30th is two hours of Great Gift Ideas to get the New year started off right. So tune in and get in on the great gift give away. Many of the items talked about on the Gift shows have donated their gifts so that we can raise money for the Volunteer Fire Dept AED Fund. Items will be auctioned off in Jan 2009.
