The Chattanooga, Tennessee native is a veteran DJ with over 20 years of experience in radio, global festivals, on tour(with Big K.R.I.T.), and party rocking (most notably with Atlanta’s “The Groove ATL”). Behind the boards, Wally Sparks was a staple of hip hop’s “Blog Era” with mixtapes and compilations featuring everyone from Southern legends UGK to Talib Kweli.

In this interview, Wally talks about how he made the switch from dancing at parties to becoming the DJ, Southern roller skating culture and how he’s adjusted through Covid and DJing on Twitch.
